ES Journal - 2017/2018

A quick perusal of the daily cash chart indicates that staying long is likely the right move for me here. Staying long.

 

Long Long Long!!! 2370.75 Initial stop 2364.00 (Day trade call).

 

Ouch, losing 7 points in 15 minutes. I am sim trading the ES right now and can't imagine losing real dollars so quickly. I'm risk adverse and only risk 2 tics per trade. Why do you use such wide stops?

He has wider targets....losses are part of trading, no big deal.

Wouldn't it be nice to turn green today?. My sense is that we are near the bottom of this pullback, but no way to know so we use stops.

 

Pretty powerful impulse down but nothing surprises me.

 

Printing 2352.50 would be extremely helpful in the bottoming process.

 

Maybe we'll get a powerful impulse to the upside now? --Never know-- I imagine there are folks wanting to buy the dip-- Who knows--
