He may have contributed, yet I doubt he caused it, conditions were very bearish (counter bullish at the time), there was a 1 bar histo, which I pointed out at the time. It was likely to happen with or without his actions. That 1 bar histo is quite remarkable, it's in play now, but other way around.
I think what's relevant is 'why', not 'who'. A lot of people were selling the market then, so in a way any speculator that went short could have contributed. Obviously some went about it in a 'naughty' way.
