Agreed FoN...I hadn't updated this chart in awhile, but this really shows how "technical" this Russell trades...Didn't even have to try and manipulate the running trendlines, this thing just finds them all itself
So am I correct that about 5 of you guys are all expecting a top here and shorting? Forgive me but I have not read this entire Journal.
No kidding? You can't predict the future? I am aware that know one knows. But are you trading as if there is a top and shorting? THAT is what I am asking...
Not at all...I was just replying to FoN's remark about writing calls...To be honest, I'm not comfortable doing any sort of multi-day hold at this current juncture...the price action is skittish, divergences galore...And the Russell just has one way liquidity...It's the ultimate "risk on risk off" instrument it seems...
Ok. I guess you guys sound quite bearish and negative. I just don't see it. I see it a bit like a slow melt up but with pockets of strong trends forming in various sectors. Just trying to ascertain why you guys see such bearish tones??. Don't get me wrong I am not FULL BLOWN BULL but I am certainly not bearish either.
If it is an uptrend who knows how high we can go. If it is a ranged market we are overbought and higher highs mean dick, big if.
I guess I better sell everything I own and go full 3X Bear ETF on margin...Glad I joined Elitetrader.com. Thanks for that. That was helpful.
