Where would the stock index ES be without the fiscal policy of the fed and the pump and dump of stock buybacks? Sure, 5min chart traders care less about that but a wise trader knows deflation is still lurking in the background. Interest rates will rise when and only when it is clear that a whiff of inflation is real and not from bogus stimulus like fed policy, stock buybacks, hedge funds pumping up housing only to dump later, and last but not least corporations hire for nothing less than a demand driven need. The list goes on but what is undeniable is: the REAL economy is still in the dumpster and creating low wage jobs will not cut it when fighting the deflation boogeyman. We trade, they worry about the real solutions.
