The real question is, how many contracts are you long and from what price.

I'm up almost 100 points on the ES today, but it certainly isn't from following a silly pattern. If all of your trades are based on patterns you're destined to fail.

this is pure luck, no one can tell the magnitude of a rally, it maybe easily closing down 30 points or more

A pattern isn't data. Data would be the statistical success rate that pattern succeeds and fails. Even that would be subjective to the fact that it would need to span over different time frames and over X amount of time.

I'm more interested in knowing why there needs to be 3 stooges when 1 is enough? Rickshaw, EQ and V-man, y'all need to get together for a vote to pick a leader. We can't have you all screaming the same thing everyday. I'm about to go deaf.

    I'll translate this for you...

Hi, I'm Rickshaw Man. In 2022, I got wiped out. I put more money into my account and hoped my thesis worked out in 2023. It did.

In 2024, it seems to be working out also. Therefore, I am a genius. Go full leverage long and nothing bad will happen.

Rickshaw Man, you are an asshole, and a danger to all newbie traders here. Along with your eqtrdr friend.

  10. Look for bullish patterns in bull markets. Look for bearish patterns in bear markets.
