    What a day.

I called a short @ 10:07 and rode it for 4 points...It was moving so fast that you could not get a limit time set before the price was anothe 2 points lower. What a problem.

I did miss out on the last big call just before 3:30 EST. I passed since it was so late in the day. I gave it to another trader at 998 and he rode it for 4.25 points.....but it gave 10 points....hate it when I miss one like this....but late in the day.

I would suspect that tomorrow will be down since the ES did not stay above 1000.

  2. He is not selling anything, so why bother with the question if he is credible or not? It's just his journal. Take it for what it is.

Had a good day today. Started off with a good profit on the first call.

Most of the day was in limbo.....no directional movement.

I quit trading around 2:30. I help a fellow trader get a few points to day. He ended up with 5.75 points taking my calls. Not bad. And he is trading multiple contracts.

Today is the start of a new month, so if you want to see prior calls you will need to thread back.

I hope everyone had a very profitable week.

Because, to put it politely, elite chat sucks for futures trading. Better chatrooms out there dedicated specifically for futures.

I don't take his realtime calls, but he's a consistent scalper.

A question has come up about other chat rooms.

I like the financialchat room since most members trade the ES.

I post my calls in this room...in most cases fast enough for others to take.

I also help other members when I can. We are doing this to make money. I wish someone had given me help before I lost a fortune.

As the record shows, I have been fairly consistent and that I do take hits (and they hurt), but you have to stay with the plan and force yourself to take the next signal (even though there is a lot of fear (loss potential)). At the end of the day I usually am postive point wise, but you do have to take into account commissions.

I have a desire to help those who are struggling, just I was, to turn it around. It is not easy. Most stressful thing you will ever do.

  9. Dbanks, it looks to me like you are using some sort of momentum indicator to trade with the trend. Not a bad strategy. Looks like it is working well for you, but too many trades for my taste. Good job!

This was not a good day.

Couldn't seem to get on the right side of the market.

I took a 2 point hit on the first trade.....this rattled me and it was tough keeping a positive attitude.

Did manage to pull my losses out to a .75 positive, but loss money due to commisssions.

I brke my rules on the 3:01 trade....I rode it out past the 2 point stop....it worked out, but I was saying the "rats prayer". This time I was lucky....I know better than to do this.

However for you swing traders today was fantastic....some bing swings for a lot of points.
