I am wanting to start following the S&P, with the intent to trade the Es eventually. Can some of you give me a good (free) site to follow it by charts. I looked at the cme website but their charts were not to good. Any help with be appreciated.
If you don't mind paying $40 bucks a month you might check out www.ensignsoftware.com There software has a unique feature that lets you "playback" historical charts in any timeframe. You can do this on the weekends or whatever. I use it all the time. You can't tell the difference. It's just like the real thing. Hope this helps...
I think the C I P T are the month codes for night sessions...so for the 24 hour continuous contracts, they use those.
