Just so you know guys, the ES is just as liquid as its bigger brother. It could be anyone, not necessarily SAC.
Eurostoxx50 This index made its highs with US markets at 10 AM and started selling off well before Goldman Sachs rumor. http://www.lbrgroup.com/index.asp?page=DailyCharts&date=2003-08-21
Hardly a trading error. You know a trading error when you see one because its like almost an uncontrolled cascade that's hard to ride down and participate in because its moving so fast. Almost like a crash except for the fact that it rebounds just as quickly back up. A 10,000 lot trading error gives you a 200 point spike in the YM and a 20 point drop if it originates in ES. Not the "pathetic" dip we saw. Anyways, rumor has it that it was GS selling undisguised 250 lots at a time. As in they were selling without even trying to protect their sell orders.
As a courtesy to doublea, I request Abhay post Monday's chart. It may provide some hope for doublea who just blew out his acct. today based on a chart that looked like it was created with MS Paint -FastTrader
A number of the recent posts are focusing on a discussion with Abhay. I will split those posts to another thread called Abhay's charts. Abhay let me know if you want the thread moved to a different forum, or you want the name of the thread changed.
