Seriously, you have no idea how overboard she went on the tax when it first came out. I thought for sure that someone upstairs was going to give her the boot for her anti-trader spiel, it was that over the top.
Cramer and CNBC do serve an important function. They are targeting the average novice investor. Sylvan can not talk to these newbies. It does not make sense to have someone like Sylvan and Cramer on the show together. Cramer an entertainer can not have a discussion with someone like Sylvan. They do not speak the same language. I feel sorry for Cramer, he gets more than his share of humiliation on TV. I am surprised that people even know the names of these TV hosts. To me they are just a mouthpiece.
thanks for this posting on the alternate ET website. seems more than just us cranky, opiniated CNBC haters take the same short position on GE's CNBC and their anchors... so you see, its not just us (ET'ers)
Cramer at best is a showman. He causes the scrutiny. He likes it. He would never feel sorry for you. He gives bad trade advice for a living. He supports some of the real crooks on wall street. This is his act.
True. Erin is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Last week, she sat idly by while listening to GOP Senator Jim Inhofe from Oklahoma spout his typically politically biased crap about how Obama has been gutting the military. I guess Inhofe is clueless as to the fact that the FY-2011 DoD Budget is now over $700 Billion for the first time ever, and that we are spending $150 billion on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan; which is just 10% shy of the peak during Bush's troop surge in 2007. Her continual spouting off in regards to the transaction tax is another great example of how she is a "tool" and has not one single original thought in her head. She can only read from a teleprompter. Period.
