At around 8:05am CST someone march ER2 down about 3 points with 200 lots. Did anyone see this? For about one or two minutes someone took ER2 down from 685 to 682.5 by showing 200 lots five deep on the offer side and marching it down one tick at a time. Then they pulled their offers and the market sprung back up. For anyone who did watch this I have a couple questions. Do you think the individual/firm who did this was trying to muscle the market down because they had resting buy orders and were attempting to exit a short position? or Do you think the firm was trying to muscle ER2 down in hopes of bringing all equities into negative territory?
ready to go UP??? Looking at the er2 chart, I see a double bottom, a nice cup and handle and a bullish penant formation. Is this baby ready to go back to 730 ???? check chart below
