Same here, was looking for a ramp up when I bought 4 contracts at 770 and accidentally doubled my contracts at 771 instead of closing it out. I hate IB sometimes... I should use my ZLT more than IB's interface. Good thing it went to 772+ Alright, this market has been getting a phantom push up almost every afternoon. $RUT seems a little exhausted this week. Couldn't go much higher (so far) but not enough sellers to push it down either.
Wonder how much they gap the futures up tomorrow after jobs #?? maybe Er2 +20 or so?? that would be kewl then gap and go all day
ER2 definetly looks bullish into the close... post market prints are hitting 77250 or so. This could be in anticipation of positive news. What is your reasoning for good job #'s? Mike
because all #s are good numbers... doesnt matter if jobs are higher or lower... market likes all #'s and all rate hikes... 100% up room to go baby $$
when you say 100% uproom to go, you realize that the 'uproom' you're referring to is the fed selling out your dollars, right? the dollar is worth a tenth of what it was in the early 70's. how many multiples has the stock market increased by in that time? every dollar you make that way is worth that much less, and is that much less worthy of accumulating. the economy as a whole can't survive this way, and when the effects of uncontrolled fiat madness and wealth stratification finally exhaust the last consumer.... ur gonna be holding a purse full of lead just imho. it took just long enough for the last depression era folks to fade out of relevance... to find ourselves here again... consult history. you're like a flea spiralling gleefully down a toilet bowl!
agreed.. today could mark a top... but nobody knows for sure.... but as has been the case in the past, every day of selling results in the next day or follow day recoup of the prior days losses.... we never get follow thru on the downside...
After trying to sell at 774 for more than a week I finally get filled. But of course no sooner had I caressed the ER2 at 774, she turned and slapped me in the face and ran to 779. But she's finally warming to my touch. Stop already moved to B/E.
