Eoption now cheaper than Optionhouse!

Discussion in 'Retail Brokers' started by Option Trader, Feb 15, 2010.

  1. Eoption got cheaper ($3 plus $.10 per contract), and Optionhouse more expensive.

Can anyone share their thoughts about quality of Eoption trading platform, and if it's agreed the issue of safety is moot since you go after the clearing firm anyway (in this case Penson)?

  2. Another ETer that only focuses on commissions.

With a $3.00 ticket charge and only $0.10 an option how do you think eOption makes money on option trades ?

  3. what are you suggesting?

  4. I am not suggesting anything, I am pointing out the obvious.

  5. I just started w eOption but so far so good.

I use limit orders and enter spreads one leg at a time, and haven't had any problems getting filled or getting my order held back or any kind of nonsense.

Their website is pretty basic and their Quotestream can't be customized too much, but I can't complain about the commissions !

If anyone has any eOption tips or hints or knows of any eOption forums I'd be happy to hear about it.

  6. What does the quote montage look with eoptions compared to IB or etrades.

The bid ask spreads and depth?

    for SPY,GE?
