How long does it usually take for one to get a response to an application? I found the ones I got a response to were almost immediately the day after or 2 days after at most . . . however i just did like 7 applications the other day and haven't gotten any responses yet . . . I just want to set up as many interviews possible because as you can tell from my name I have a strong passion and desire to succeed in this industry . . . thanks in advance
Right now Wall Street companies might be laying off people. Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, and Bank Of America are all experiencing some kind of major problem. If a number of the bigger companies are having trouble then other Wall Street firms might be having problems also. Keep at it. The hiring phase can begin again. I do not know when hiring might increase.
