Hi, I like to trade the Energy stocks (symbol: slb, eog, sun, nov etc.) on Intra-day basis. We all say that it is a good practice to trade with the trend. But I notice for a long time that the energy stocks has a "life of their on" and, when trying to compare the direction of movement of them to Nyse composite, for instance, there is no match large part of the day. (It is always fascinate me how the energy stocks reverse the trend like flock of fish in the sea). I have tried to compare the trend to the oil future contracts on 15 minutes charts and didn't fined a clear correlation. The oil sector index gives me what de facto is going. What I am looking for is where to find the data that moves the energy stocks on an Intra-day movement, or the right index. Any help? Wily
