You are right, your post gave me the idea to look at a small cap energy index. I found the "S&P Small Cap 600 Capped Energy". Needless to say, we are close to the agony / capitulation. Prices at the end of August '17 are close to February '16 and March '09?! Really ? I don't like to be contrarian but maybe there is a buying opportunity right now. CM
