    Look at it this way:

    175.50 X 2.00 = $351.00
    25.75 lots X 5.00 = $128.75

Many small retail traders would be happy to pull that out of the market in 2 hours 15 min trading time.

Could be but it has been a long time since I traded YM. I have found in the past that NQ directionally often leads ES but not all the time but enough times that it can be a factor to consider. For instance, say NQ breaks to the upside and ES is dragging a bit. I can go long on ES and often times capture scalp as it follows NQs movement.

Stepped back into the MH for a jiffy. Here is an example of MES leading the MNQ! That happens too! By that I mean MES made it higher up into the TR as the MNQ did in the same time period in its TR. First chart is MNQ. Second shows MES leading it in the TR. Price goes higher in MES and on bigger bars at the same time. A little bigger bars. More momentum in MES at this moment in time.

More often it is MNQ leading MES. But there are days MES is more volatile. Or pieces in time where one leads the other.

You can also see the MNQ leading MES in the swing out of the bottom from about bar 12:35 to 13:35

Basically, a trader has to be watching in real time to detect who is leading who.

Again, see the leading here, moments later? MES makes it out of the TR before turning back down. MNQ does not.

Why would you waste your time trading one lot micros instead of the bigs? Rhetorical. I already know the answer. And they are probably sim.

How long have you been doing this? And you're trading micros to flex on this thread?

Your nick is nearly 20Y old.

Where did I state that I know all? Nobody with this many hours in the market would be trading micros for any reason other than an underfunded status. GL with the training wheels. Perhaps Padu will throw you a bone.
