From a cosmic perspective what do you guys think about the nature of our reality and our location within it? What do you see that does not match up with a 'normal' world view? The Matrix I think we have all seen or at least heard about the move. The military got busted making underground bases that could only have been used for this. The bases were meant to house 4 million people but only had one bathroom. They had shit tons of electrical though. It would only make sense if they were going to put people in giant klingon toilet bowls. (joking, reference to the "pods") Hallucinogens One scientist already had a lot of success giving people a custom brew of hallucinogens while strapping a VR display to their head and a joystick to their hand. They used the joystick automatically and remembered the whole thing as being real. Only when shown video did they understand the truth. Enclaves Sort of like antigravity there supposedly is a way to inject "space" into a container so you can climb inside that doll house or toy space ship. There are rumors of missile silos that have been converted to have their own "disc worlds" on multiple floors within the silo where they have fake USA, fake South Africa, and so on. Throw in a nice projection on the ceiling and a heft dose of chimeric LSD and we could have reality as we know it. I spoke with someone about an idea for an experiment. The idea was that wavelength might be invariant. Meaning a 2cm wavelength in the real world might seem like 10000cm in an enclave. Another idea was light-distance. That light would take the same time to traverse a given amount of 'real' space regardless of weather or not it passed through an enclave. What other forms of alternative reality can you imagine? What do you see in our world that does not match up with a 'normal' world view?
