this is a real test of freedom of expression or freedom of speech in the internet. freedom of the press. these guys must be really scared to call INTERPOL to shut down a website posting 'information' that is embarrassing to some entities.
I would hope so. Why would a bank knowingly aid in the act of espionage? That doesn't seem right to me.
If Bank of America were an institution worthy of respect, they would not interfere with Wikileaks payments but instead work on becoming a more honest, forthright place of business. All the organizations who have blacklisted Wikileaks recently are worthy of contempt and if you are a customer, is a clear signal to move your business elsewhere.
They should go ahead and cut funding to the NYT and Post, which also participate in such unpatriotic activites. Some of these folks aprntly need a few good ole waterboarding sessions to put them straight.
Of course Bank of America is the gummint's puppet. It's basically broke and it continues to exist thanks to the gummint's welfare handouts. That's why bailouts and stimulus packages are the first step towards national-socialism: make private businesses become addicted to the gummints handouts, so the state can later exert political control over them. It's Nazi Germany all over again.
I have not decided which side of this I am on...it is not completly black and white to me. I am an observer watching things unfold and there seems to be a war (see links below). I believe in America and Capitalism and think our system is the best of the worst. I also believe in free speech, but then again does any of this cause danger to our military?... You know Patriotism could cause wars. There is a lot of lieing in our culture compared to some others and other cultural differences unique to the USA, but where is the line drawn? It seems as humans progress further into history the fences are raised higher and higher, which would shock earlier brainwashed generations.
