  3. The problem with America, to be quite candid, is that the structure encourages one of two things:

    1) Be moralistic and righteous, and have no chance of building serious wealth,

    or

    2) Join the corruption, and if you have 1/2 a brain, build serious wealth.

In other words, the system itself encourages people to sell their souls if they want the money.

A great example of this is government contracting and the military-industrial complex.

  4. If America has so many problems with building wealth then why do so many people want to come here and why is America so rich??

America is the only country that I am aware of where you can come here penniless and within a few years own a home, a car, and a business iproviding that you are willing to work for it and not depend on policticans to give it to you.

The only thing this system encourages is hard work and the only people who complain about it are the ones not willing to work and who expect it to be given to them.

I wonder where US would be in this table if unfunded Social Security and Medicare liabilities were accounted for? Many would say, technically bankrupt, and that is why these programs will need to be cut back drastically in years to come. It isn't going to get any better from here, economy wise, IMO.

  6. I wonder where it would rank if the U.S. government used actual accounting standards when compiling its debt obligations.

Those numbers would blow us all away, I assure everyone. ;)

  7. Europe's unfunded liabilities are a lot worst then ours.

One reason is their birth rates are lower then ours and another reason is their socialist welfare states are much more a % of their gnp then ours. Another reason is their economies are not growing.

  9. Wanna get good politicians in office? Well the people will need to DEMAND it. If the wimpy fools that vote people in and out of office stay the course they will get more of the same.

A few days of marching down the main streets in USa will get some attention, but americans in general are afraid of the next paycheck not showing up so they are a bunch of scarty cats. Wise up people, they have you where they want you and the game will not change unless we ALL force it upon them. WE NEED A COUP>

PS, the guy that posted the report about debt relative to GDP forgets who put the report out and how it is meaningless. besides when an elephant drops dead and falls it is a bigger thump.

Done for the evening, movie time. :p
