Hi Emintrader: Your approach simply makes sense: a) on down markets you may not have trades at all (since you are a buyer), or few trades with tight stop loss. Good! b) on up days (like today) you may have many trades with very good outcome. Good! c) on reversal days, i.e.: up after the opening and down afterward, you may have several entries, all losses but with tight stop. A normal drawback. Thank you for sharing. Keep the good work! Hi Emintrader: A little clarification. On today's results you said: MRVL : Buy at 7.6794. Close at 7.64 So - 0.5169 % I thought the stop should have been 7.42 instead of 7.64? Following your set up I concluded that: MRVL opened at 7.47, the BUY at 7.68, the STOP at 7.42 (Your stop-loss price is at opens less 0.07) and the target if hit 8.10 or price at close. Unless I misunderstood or have a wrong computation. Today's results were good in spite of rough market (Down/Up/Down/UP Positive/Down negative) Best! From The Safe
Hi From The Safe, My answer is no...My order entry is activated between 15:25 and 15:30 at 7.6769 (i let you to round it) and before the close of market my initial stop-loss is not activated SO i closed my order at market's close (7.64 -> ideally). I hope i ma clear ? Best regards, emintrader
