What is the best unit of time to daytrade the emini Nasdaq and the emini S&P?
Which are the best hours for trader?

  2. 930 - 1030 is extremely volatile time period but those are the times when most money is made/lost, during that period breakout trading appears to be working best

11-2 is "slow" time, probably the best for new trader to get some experience, swing trading is the best strategy for that period

2-4 and especially 3-4(after the bonds close) I thind that trend following is the best strategy for that period

DAN34: “What is the best unit of time?”

If you’re asking which timeframe is the best, I’d say that depends on the trader. I’m not sure that there is a “best unit of time”.

“Which are the best hours for trader?”

I find the majority of my profits are accumulated during trades that are opened between 8:30 to 10:00 and 13:00 to 14:15 CST. I remain vigilant when the market approaches significant areas regardless of the time, though.
