First, although I bear no grudge against anyone who trades AH session, the price action in AH is usually downright retarded. Hence, I'm led to believe the participants of AH are more or less retarded themselves. Having said that, I utilize two charts. One for RTH and another for AH. The RTH chart runs from 7:00 AM to 3:15PM (CST or Chicago Time). The reason why I choose 7:00 AM is that most of the major economic news get released at 7:30 AM. For the AH, it runs 24/7. All the squigglies are drawn on the RTH charts. When you include AH in the intraday charts, it will significantly skew the lines, especially trendlines. If I'm concerned about important levels that were reached only in AH, I would refer to the daily chart, which would include both RTH and AH. Hope that helps.
