EMET enhanced migration experience toolkit?

  1. this program was recommended on some TV show

    anyone familiar with it?

    I've been using MS Security Essentials for a few years,
    with few major problems; no other anti virus.

  2. Microsoft Security Essentials uses a signature database, so if a new virus came out and they haven't updated their signature database to detect it, then you could be infected.

    EMET protects against various attack strategies, so even if a new virus comes out and the antivirus vendors haven't updated their signature databases yet, EMET could still protect you against it.

    Antivirus programs (such as MSE) and EMET are complementary, so it's good to have both installed.
