Emails are just like Benghazi

  1. When she says emails are just like Benghazi, she means she got away with Benghazi and she'll get away with emails.

There you go again.. defending large stupid, or criminal big govt behavior...

email systems of the secretary of state without top secret communications only exist in the preposterous land of unicorns and fairies or a alternate universe where the clintons would never do something illegal or lie.

which brings up the man who told us... we could keep our doctors.

We need to see the emails he sent back and forth to Hillary. What was he doing exchanging emails with her if she was not using a secure address?
Will you be making excuses for him too.

  3. What she means is this is another manufactured scandal; how else could the Party of War, Recession, Tax Cuts for the Rich and Big Budget Deficits could win the White House?

Jem there is a world of difference between "defending large, stupid pr criminal behavior" and pointing out facts. It is a fact that Clinton will not be prosecuted if the State Department is correct that the documents in question were not marked classified at the time they were sent to Clinton's server. The sole purpose of my post was to point out the futility of proceeding further with this matter at our expense if there is no point in it other than a purely political one. If you favor these wild goose chases then you are one of those encouraging government activities that are wasteful and will not produce any useful result other than what has already been achieved. The matter was an important one, but now that it has been determined, apparently, that none of the documents on her server were marked classified at the time they were received, there is no point in pressing the matter further. Let's move to more productive efforts. We can rest assured that John Kerry is not making the same mistake. The lesson learned has been made note of. Let's move on.

  6. The only time a democrat cares about expense is when it is the expense of investigating them. Republicans care about more than money.

Neither Fox, nor anyone else in the news media has any way to know the significance of the documents in question. They are not going to be released to the public anytime soon. . The State department has made that clear. It is pure speculation. The only purpose can be to attempt to manufacture another controversy for the purpose of promoting media audience share. Let's try to be less naive. As one with a great deal of experience with classified documents, I can assure you that there is no way to judge the significance of a document from the level of its classification alone. One has to know the contents, and we're not going to know that, nor is Fox..

It is bothersome when two Senators on the Intelligence Committee from different parties say diametrically opposite things about this. I hope it is an honest disagreement and not politics. They should force themselves to be above the fray.

At some point we will have more information on the nature of the withheld emails. All the major media outlets have put in FOIA requests for access to these retained emails. The FOIA requests, of course, will be denied. However the denials will need to provide further information on why, instead of "these are classified".
