You have to look at what Elon Musk's positions are with his America Party. He supports tighter gun controls. Heavily favors H1B visas which are visas for foreign workers. While, I understand the need to hire foreign workers under the H1B visas for say teacher and nurses which the US has severe shortage of, other fields do not need foreign workers. Americans would end up losing more jobs needlessly. I support cutting government waste which was plenty. A third party will only siphon votes from the Republican side but, elect more Democrats. So, we are back to square one. Does anyone really want the Democrats to be in charge again after all the problems they have created? Elon Musk should have supported Republican conservatives and got more of them elected. That would change the balance for the better and allow waste to be cut. This America Party of Elon Musk will achieve nothing and put the Democrats back into power. Nothing more. Elon Musk did a lot with DOGE and too bad, he gave up too easily.
Unfortunately, politics is no place for people who want to fix problems, but for others who want to please a specific group. He will never get the support he needs to make it, pretty much like Sanders.

He could get enough support to hand the Dems the 2028 elections, basically because the Dems are mindless sheep who vote as they are told, while the indies and pubs use more critical thinking which would probably steal votes from the GOP. Ross Perot is a perfect example. The Bushman would have won in '92 had it not been for Perot.
