Elon Musk Offer to purchase Twitter

  1. Looks a little Soviet to me.

Elon is entitled to disagree with the government on issues foreign and domestic without having the "national security" apparatus unleashed on him.

The question may shortly become --- how can Twitter operate as a company with nearly no workers.

Musk said he plans to cut nearly 75 percent of Twitter’s workforce: report

How much you want to bet the government wants to stop Twitter from being bought by Musk and will call it a National Security Risk!

It's quid pro quo. Musk restores Starlink after dangling a disconnect threat in exchange for gov stopping the twitter acquisition. Musk gets out penalty free and gets to sell it to his libertarian/con rubes as "big gov" stopped me.

  6. At a minimum, the Biden Administration wants to just keep trying to damage Elon because they are political hacks.

They proposed an "energy bill" that allowed for electric vehicle credits for automakers who were unionize. A direct shot at Musk.

They don't like Elon's position on Ukraine, so they have to punish him.

They don't like his switch to being or supporting republicans. Gotta bust him down.

They don't like his attempt to take over Twitter because he will use it as a mouthpiece to say things about which the Bidenista's disapprove and to allow Trump back on- therefore they are sending out the goons to get him.

They know he is trying to recruit more investors to make things work with the Twitter deal so they also know that all this "national security risk" talk poisons the well and lets any potential investor know that to get involved is nothing but headaches as far as the eye can see.

And even if the deal does go through they just want to damage his brand by staying on his arse in as many ways as possible.

There is indeed a substantial national security risk in all of this. And it is the Biden Syndicate.

They may ban foreign investment to stop Musk
If this deal goes through it will hurt the progressives to censor the opposition

National Security risk? Or Political Risk to Democrats? If Trump was doing this, the outcry from the left would drown out everything else.

Crypto: the value has never been in a brand of currency (ie Bitcoin) because regular currencies will become digital eventually. The wallet is where the real innovation (value) is in the crypto universe. This is good for Twitter…
