  2. My point being that you- and others- worry about Elon getting persnickety and doing due diligence because he is spending 40 billion of his own money.

Meanwhile, you and your ilk fund all your various scams with 80 billion of flat out missing covid money while propping up many businesses who did not need it.

Now we are going to rebuild Ukraine and make it the 51st state while Americans are going tits up from the inflation from your last scams. Yeh, let's keep watching Elon. Meanwhile whether he buys it or not at 54.00 or less or not at all probably does not amount to fuck in the scheme of things.

Hold on a second, Musk fore went due diligence when he made his offer. He got himself in deep because he couldn’t pass a background check to become part of the board at Twitter. Don’t try to make this out to be some sort of poor Elon thing. And yes he is going to need some friends in DC to get out of this mess and the republicans are easily corrupted so it makes sense he begins to align that way.

Next to be clear PPP was a Trump era program. As the executive it was his job to protect from fraud.

  4. Let's just say that your-ilk states such as California were the lion share of the problem and had front line responsibility for managing and auditing their state run programs had fed funds delegated to them.

Actually if you take a look at the audit reports involving PPP most of the fraud involving large sized loans to "larger companies" (some companies did not really exist and employ people) usually involved GOP politically connected "corporate executives" in red states.

  8. I heard that Elon was going to adopt this practice if you want to get your account back at Twitter.

I could be wrong. But it looks like it works at Fakebook/Instacrap.

What Musk is really up to is simply boasting, peacocking, about how rich he is. It's all about ego. "I have so much money I can colonize Mars! I have so much money I can tunnel under the ocean! I have so much money I can buy Twitter!"

He doesn't go through with the stuff because if he spends too much money he'll either not be at the top any more, or his billionaire "competitors" will be too close for comfort.

Funny how they are able to ban and shadow ban actual influencers on the right, but have supposedly no ability to ban bots, which could possibly account for 60% of all tweets. If that's true, then yes, the Twitter CEO deserves a poop emoji. Makes you wonder if the bots are left, and are supported by the leftists at Twitter. If so, yah, Musk should get a discount for all the dishonesty going on at Twitter.
