Trump was the first to use or make a reference to Hitler. Not the smartest thing to do because it allowed his political opponents to use it against him. Similarly, if Trump does something illegal and becomes a convicted felon 34x (he is now a convicted felon with criminal trials pending)...it allows his political opponents to use it against him and allows the justice department to go after him. It's no different than Trump's rhetoric that Biden/Harris is a danger to America and that he's running for President because he's the only one who can save America.
