Elon is a legal immigrant who came to America and created lots of jobs and technological advancements. Thus, the lefties hate him. If he was released from a prison in Honduras and went up to Chicago and got his government debit card and displaced members of the community when it came to housing and resources they would love him. That's what American greatness looks like to them.
I can read - I've read all the commentary of people who have had the misfortune of dealing with Elon Musk -- all of his scams, lies, not paying vendors, failed leadership, etc. The man is just like Trump when it comes to business. You know Trump had a biography written as well -- just like Musk's it is mostly fiction. You should read Walter Isaacson’s biography of Elon Musk published in 2023 which depicts the 'mercurial “man-child” with grandiose ambitions and an ego to match' after he 'shadowed Musk for two years — sitting in on meetings, getting a peek at emails and texts, engaging in “scores of interviews and late-night conversations.”' BTW speaking of reading -- If you want to read more than a few tweets on X/Twitter you are out of luck. Musk's rate limiting from July of 2023 is still in place. Outage Alert: Twitter Users Sent 'Over Daily Limit' After Posting 1 Tweet https://www.datacenterknowledge.com...s-sent-over-daily-limit-after-posting-1-tweet Elon Musk announces new daily Twitter limitations as thousands of users report problems accessing site https://www.nonstoplocal.com/tri-cities-yakima/news/elon-musk-announces-new-daily-twitter-limitations-as-thousands-of-users-report-problems-accessing-site/article_6af65852-4298-5c84-a118-3d060be65e77.html?=/&subcategory=27|Other And, of course, more outages in the past week. Today's vote clearly shows that the majority of people are reasonable and smart. I started to doubt it reading this forum. I will stop doing it for a week at least to put my mind in order.
So SpaceX is the equivalent of "Animal House" set on a corporate campus instead of a college campus. And Elon Musk actively supports this environment; both in his actions as a leader and his tweets. Fired SpaceX employees sue the company for wrongfully terminating critics of CEO Elon Musk https://www.wral.com/story/fired-sp...erminating-critics-of-ceo-elon-musk/21479568/ NEW YORK (AP) — Eight former employees sued SpaceX and its CEO Elon Musk, alleging that Musk ordered them fired after they challenged what they called rampant sexual harassment and a hostile “Animal House”-style work environment at the company. The employees, who filed suit in a California state court, detailed their complaints in a 2022 open letter to management they shared via a company intranet. The next day, four of the plaintiffs were fired, they alleged; others were terminated later after an internal investigation. In January, the federal National Labor Relations Board filed its own complaint against SpaceX based on issues raised by nine fired employees. Among other workplace concerns, the open letter called on executives to condemn Musk’s public behavior on X — the platform then known as Twitter — and to hold all employees accountable for unacceptable conduct. Musk’s actions included making light of sexual harassment allegations against him — charges that the billionaire denied. “As our CEO and most prominent spokesperson, Elon is seen as the face of SpaceX — every tweet that Elon sends is a de facto public statement by the company,” the open letter said at the time. The letter also referred to Musk’s actions as a ”frequent source of distraction and embarrassment.” The plaintiffs are seeking unspecified monetary damages. The complaint drew connections between Musk's behavior — in particular, his often lewd posts on Twitter — and the working environment at SpaceX. It states that one of the plaintiffs, Yaman Abdulhak, noted that many of the inappropriate examples cited in a 2021 “appropriate behavior” employee training “closely resembled the contents of Musk's tweets.” Abdulhak sent examples of those tweets to the SpaceX human resources director, who took no action, the complaint stated. SpaceX did not immediately reply to an emailed request for comment.
"Threatening a pregnant employee with "severe repercussions" for seeking medical care after being attacked by a possibly herpes-infected monkey? It doesn't get any more on-brand Musk than that." Neuralink monkey attack scandal: former employee alleges horrific incident and wrongful termination https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/othe...incident-and-wrongful-termination/ar-BB1oovfg Another day, another disturbing allegation against one of Elon Musk's companies. A former employee at Musk's problematic brain-implant startup, Neuralink, is suing the company, alleging that she was attacked by a lab monkey carrying the Herpes B virus. Lindsay Short claims that she was scratched by a monkey while wearing inadequate protective gear and was subsequently fired just one day after informing her superiors about her pregnancy. "Short details encountering a 'work environment fraught with blame, shame, and impossible deadlines,' once she was transferred to the company's site in Fremont, California," reports Futurism. Threatening a pregnant employee with "severe repercussions" for seeking medical care after being attacked by a possibly herpes-infected monkey? It doesn't get any more on-brand Musk than that. Neuralink sounds like an absolute nightmare to work for, especially if you're a woman or a monkey. Last year, Wired reported that up to a dozen monkeys allegedly experienced terrifying symptoms such as brain swelling and paralysis after being implanted with Neuralink chips. Musk, of course, denied these claims but failed to provide any evidence. It's no wonder that Teslas are the preferred cars of incels. Elon is quite a Twit. Elon Musk spreads doctored Kamala Harris campaign video on X You can't say "cisgender" on X but you can create AI deepfakes of your political opponents. https://mashable.com/article/elon-musk-shares-doctored-kamala-harris-campaign-video
As a follow-up, let's see Musk's response when he is called out on this deepfake. Elon Musk Makes Crude Testicle-Related Retort When Gavin Newsom Calls Out Deepfake Kamala Video https://www.mediaite.com/online/elo...gavin-newsom-calls-out-deepfake-kamala-video/ The coarsening of political rhetoric took another turn for the worse Monday morning after billionaire cartoon-caricature Elon Musk shot back at California Governor Gavin Newsom with a “deez nuts” reference because…that’s the way we live now, fellow Americans (sigh.) At issue is a deep fake video that Musk shared last week, which purported to show Vice President Kamala Harris, who is ostensibly the presumed Democratic nominee for president, saying over-the-top and, well, demeaning things that were created to either mislead or entertain, depending on one’s point of view. Here’s how AP reported on the video: A manipulated video that mimics the voice of Vice President Kamala Harris saying things she did not say is raising concerns about the power of artificial intelligence to mislead with Election Day about three months away. The video gained attention after tech billionaire Elon Musk shared it on his social media platform X on Friday evening without explicitly noting it was originally released as parody. The video uses many of the same visuals as a real ad that Harris, the likely Democratic president nominee, released last week launching her campaign. But the video swaps out the voice-over audio with another voice that convincingly impersonates Harris. “I, Kamala Harris, am your Democrat candidate for president because Joe Biden finally exposed his senility at the debate,” the voice says in the video. It claims Harris is a “diversity hire” because she is a woman and a person of color, and it says she doesn’t know “the first thing about running the country.” The video retains “Harris for President” branding. It also adds in some authentic past clips of Harris. Critics of Musk’s video noted that it was illegal to falsely portray a politician saying things they didn’t actually say, and Newsom eventually commented on Twitter, “Manipulating a voice in an “ad” like this one should be illegal. I’ll be signing a bill in a matter of weeks to make sure it is.” In classic 8th-grade style, Musk shot back at Newsom in reply, saying that he “checked with renowned world authority, Professor Suggon Deeznutz, and he said parody is legal in America.” So there it is people. That’s where we are in today’s political discourse. Deepfake videos defended with deeznutz “jokes.”
