Elon Musk Didn’t Want His Latest Deposition Released. Here It Is. Musk is being sued for falsely suggesting a 22-year-old Jewish man was part of a neo-Nazi brawl. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/elon...eleased-here-it-is_n_66133d2ce4b0d81853f9a766
Elon Musk treats Tesla employees just like Twitter employees. Remember Elon made similar statements about severance at Twitter and never actually fixed anything -- which is why the former employees are suing. Elon Musk apologized for 'incorrectly low' Tesla severance packages https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-tesla-apologizes-severance-packagaes-layoffs-2024-4
That may carry some weight if he were running the Salvation Army. But as someone once said... business is war. And it is. You make it sound as if he's the first ever to do this.
There are laws about severance pay for mass layoffs in the U.S. (WARN, etc.)... and Elon Musk must follow the law. He is not above the law.
Welp.... you are 100% right. And if he violated the law... he'll pay dearly. I doubt there will be any shortage of "I don't get paid unless you get paid" attorneys exploiting this move.
You know when I pull up news on PANW (just as an example, there are tons), the window is populated with 30 law firms suing them for whatever sec violation they allege... "Last day to get in"-- "The law firm of Skeezix, Skeezix, and Vandafu." ---> So like I said, if there's anything there, let the courts decide.
