But I might add this: sim trading = cash trading in terms of execution; I have never seen a bias or difference between the 2; while sim is not real money, rooms that I am in and trade sim make a lot of great trades and IF taken with live $$$ accounts would have made the same.
Two rooms I am in for only a few months I am trading micros and it is a real hoot!

  3. Thanks Dazz,

This is mind blowing to me. So are you telling me, traders are paying for a trading room watching and tracking someone who trades paper money?

That is not cool to me.

    consider this then:
    1. there are 2107 "futures trade" rooms on my master list; only 31 actually trade, so 98.5% are sales rooms.
    2. Since so few actually trade it must be really really hard but useful to watch - do you not learn dance by watching; same for piano, any kind of sports, etc. Most require some form of watching.
    3. So now turn your attention to the 98.5% of rooms that are all vendor/no trader: what do you get to watch? You cannot learn what you cannot see. They do not trade at all; they make all their money off of you.
    4. With trading based on sim, one room made $5380 last week at 3 contracts per trade. Because it is paper money it was not achieved? Sim trading is most often standardized at 1-2-3 contracts per trade. That is how you learn.
    5. Remember: those that cannot do teach.
If you have a better approach I am all ears believe me.

  5. Dazz,

Thank you for your effort of sharing this knowledge and resources and your input.

Your write up is very interesting.

Just to make sure I understand you very very well.

So, I pay for a trading room monthly (say about $100 per month), to watch/learn from someone who does not trade real money?

I am sorry, but I will never do that as it does not make logical business sense. Why would I want to waste time watching someone who trades fake money? Seems like a waste of time and money to me. Anyone doing this should be ashamed of themselves.

A better approach is to learn day trading on your own or buy Al Brooks Trading Course and seeking quality price action trading courses or even market profile.

    OK learn Al Brooks then; does he trade? Ever? What is his performance data? Any? There are thousand Al Brooks' out there waiting to take your money. Good luck;

Me - I trade these 2 robots everyday - they aver over $500 each per day for the last 7 months and have made $121,000 paper money together (

they trade paper and I trade $$$$ live. Just saying - learning to trade from person that does not trade is like trying to learn dance from a person that does not dance. Why start off with such a disadvantage? Might as well take driving lessons from the blind.

  7. Thanks Dazz,

Let me watch your video, then I will respond. Interesting youtube link.

You right about Al Brooks too. I do not know if he trades real money or not and does not show any records. You right, so I can not debate that.
