    From OP:
Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., unveiled a plan Monday that would offer free tuition at public colleges while canceling up to $50,000 in student debt for over 40 million Americans.

Moving forward, Warren's plan would eliminate tuition and fees at two-year and four-year public colleges and redirect student loan benefits to cover additional costs incurred by students.

  5. And does anyone with an IQ over 70 believe that the cost of college will go down, or even level out with the government/taxpayers footing the bill? This is a huge part of the problem to begin with with existing grants and loans. As the government raises the rate of what they'll loan the tuition goes up as well. The entire post secondary education system is a scam on both students and taxpayers.

  6. All schools are for profit. Don't tell me you're stupid enough to believe otherwise. Next thing you'll be telling me is the Clinton foundation is actually a charitable organization.

I'm smart enough to spot a scam like DeVry or Trump University

  8. For some reason no pol seems to want to address this. Dems see big ed as a natural constituency. Reps are afraid of being called anti-education. They are too cucked to exploit the vast anger middle America has toward the education establishment.

You have to be amazed at Sen. Warren's rationale for creating yet another enormous moral hazard. She says the government didn't spend enough money on education, so universities had no choice but to hose the students. So really, it's no one's fault but the evil, tight-fisted republicans.

Let us start with the overpaid extreme liberals masquerading as professors in college being paid 6 figures into indoctrinating our kids about the virtues and successes of Socialism, Communism and Islamism. Maybe, their salaries should be cut by 50%. That should bring down the cost of student loans immediately! Better still, stop putting monies in the pockets of the extreme liberals to teach your kids to hate the US, be brainwashed into Socialism, Communism and Islamism. Use that $100,000 you are going to take a student loan out on starting a family business instead! Your kids would have guaranteed jobs, not be stuck to the rat race and get tax advantages over other kids who get into hock over loans they cannot pay with the jobs they have? You running a successful business, you can give that to your kids and grandkids down the line and they will learn to run a business and be better off! Much better education that what they will learn in those so called Ivy League schools.

  10. Welcome to Fresno State. Foreigners here are asked to not watch this. It is too embarrassing to the country.

Oh, that's right. Someone wearing a MAGA hat is the embarrassment. My bad.

    Please shoot me.
