Actually, its a very smart proposal. She realizes the vast stupidity of voters these days and knows how to capitalize on it. Who cares about actually living up to her promises. None of the previous Presidents have lived up to theirs and people don't hold them accountable, so why not promise it to the mob if it gets you elected? Since when do proposals have to have any realism in their design?

Those that are getting their loans waived already have the degree and can't pay it back. Why is that? A lot of degrees have little value relative to their cost. This will not make that better. Making college more accessible to people who really have no business going to college will cheapen those degrees even further.
