why don't you post your picture so we can compare? PS. you don't need a note from your doctor, you have no dick. fucking piece of shit.
The left’s open display of pandering to the fringes via handout after handout is today’s PC equivalent to our Founding Father’s keg of hard cider outside a polling booth. Only exception is back then the Politicians bought the booze. Today’s Political “Con-Persons” bribe voters with tax payers money.
We are dealing with a situation in which people have borrowed money, guaranteed by the taxpayer, to go to university, and now they are complaining that they can't earn enough to pay the loan off. That in itself would seem to call into question the value of their degrees. The argument is the government bailed out Wall Street and the auto industry and now this large group of voters wants some too. That is the problem with moral hazard. How do you deny the next worthy supplicant? Rather than sit back and toss insults, perhaps you have an idea for a reasonable solution. Let's hear it.
If the cost of the education can't be paid for after receiving the education, you tell us what the value is.
I'm prepared to say that you can't always measure the benefit of education in terms of subsequent earnings. The problem is, then it's a luxury item, and I have trouble understanding why working class taxpayers should underwrite some dilettante's degree in art history or gender studies. The problem is employers have mandated a degree as the prerequisite to a white collar job, and the universities have been ruthless in squeezing out every last dollar they can for that ticket. If the government can mandate what doctors charge under medicare, they can mandate the degree of gouging universities can get away with.
Well interest forgiveness is to make the loan more manageable because you have a person 5 years out of school struggling. we don't want to let them off the hook but want them to have to pay the next 20 years so the lesson is learned. There is no reason we cannot be flexible for people who got themselves into those situations because nothing can be gained by screwing them into the ground at this point. The lesson and not letting them off the hook is you still got to pay this for the next 20 years of your life but we will stretch it out to make it easier and hopefully you will learn to move into a better field. No one is going to take the side of the english Lit major 6 years out of college who still is finding themselves. Like Henry Hill said in Goodfellas..Fuck you pay men. as for inflated costs of tuition I think the drive for more technology, better labs/research, competition for professors, competitive push for more updated facilities is driving this and it really will not stop.
Unfortunately none of the democratic candidates are having a detailed discussion like we're having here. Sad really. All they're offering up are the pandering buzzwords and phrases. "Free" really plays well, and tax Wall Street, aka rich white people, are the favorites. Can we count on the moderators, aka leftist mouthpieces, to ask any detailed question? Nope. The most simple of which would be, define free, are the institutions themselves going to have any "investment" in this, will we ever address the skyrocketing cost of tuition? All this lets me know none of these clowns are truly serious about this other than throwing it out there to grab votes and then be able to blame evil republicans when it dies in the legislative process. Once again it's all about the never ending campaign trial. Talk shit and do nothing, rinse, wash, repeat, one election cycle after another.
The Castro boy out virtue-signalled the others when they were talking about abortion rights. He pipes up and says he is all for everything, including and let's not forget, abortion for transgenders. Yeh, you Da Man, Castro boy. Just what people in the heartland are worried about the most: Women who identify as men who might be discriminated against for abortions if they are treated as men when they actually are women. That's a real vote-getter of a message right there.
