You think she doesn't know that he is an arrogant, selfish, hypocritic SOB? Give me a break. She should have divorced him a long time ago. Standing next to this sleaze bag is a disgrace.
since I'm not American i don't know this guy, but why he should resign just because he had a hooker? so what? even if marriage does not work and politics get divorced and have for example younger woman/man there is no reason to resign.
ah c'mon, boys will be boys. anyway, maybe he did this because his wife wasn't giving him what he needed at home? who knows what goes on in a typical marriage. besides, look at his wife then look at the selection of hotties at the escort service he used. the temptation was too much. these things don't necessarily result in divorce. hillary stayed by bill's side remember? same with the detroit mayor.
i think the fact he was such a hard ass with some prostitution rings he busted will seal his fate. personally, i think the story here is the bank ratting him out. the way he put the money together threw up red flags and they alerted the IRS. LOL LOL LOL big brother at work. that is what is going to fry him.
Does anyone else here have the mental image of that scene from "The Godfather", where Robert Duvall goes to that whore house and the hardass politician who wouldn't "play ball" is sitting there naked in tears with the dead hooker beside him and he can't remember how she died, and Duvall reassuring him that everything will be OK?
