I did not see it on the Control Panel or Programs. I wonder if Bing loaded from another program I downloaded or a link I hit by mistake.
I did too, but if I recall it said I was stuck with it and could not delete certain MSFT programs. But perhaps the author was not as bright as the people here. We put too much confidence in the authors of internet stories.
I was using G Chrome at first then switched to FFox because it was faster and more private. Then I moved to Brave and DDGo because it uses a VPN and does not sell information.
Isn't Bing simply a search engine and not a browser? The default browser for Win10 is Edge. Post a screenshot of Bing for reference.
I used it to download XBox and FFox, but I did not see Cortana and Bing. I'll try Gaussian's suggestion next. But the Revo suggestion was good......there are a lot of options in the taskbar...thanks.
I used Revo to delete Cortana et al from W10 V1809 and 1909 (different machines). I'm thinking MSFT might put Cortana back on my rig when I update to 2004. Will have to see then if I can still uninstall "things". (That will have to wait. I've got "2004 upgrade" on delay for 1 year.) In Firefox Options/Preferences, you can specify a default search engine. You can also specify other search engines NOT be used. It is there you might be able to exclude Bing. (??)
