Electronic agricultural commodity futures exchanges

Discussion in 'Commodity Futures' started by trader07, Jul 10, 2007.

  1. I trade through Interactive Brokers. When I go to get a quote for an agricultural commodity future such as cocoa (CC) they present three different exchanges: NYMEX, NYBOT, ONE. I thought NYMEX owned the NYBOT and I thought ONE was OneChicago individual stock index futures. Can somebody enlighten me what's going on, which is the exchange that I should trade (most volume, tightest bid/ask spread) for agricultural commodity futures? Seems like they keep changing every week. Thanks in advance.

    P.S.
I'm aware of ECBOT for corn, beans, wheat etc. I'm talking about CC, OJ, KC, sugar.
