More Government fear mongering. If the electrical grid and DOD is under such threat from a cyber attack - TAKE THEM OFF THE INTERNET. Secure intranets can be installed that connect each installation via direct/dedicated lines. Instead, the Freedom-Haters in Washington want to shut-down most of the internet and tightly control the rest to "keep us safe". Its all bullshit and lies designed to CONTROL US.
You're right, this is fear mongering. The goal is to secure the internet to prevent 'unauthorized dissemination of information during times of national emergency'. Oh, and for the record, it doesn't matter who's in the White House - that's just a diversion. This is about not letting a crisis go to waste...
