so we drop the daily cases by 10k and crisis is over? (looking at futures). I don't know if I'm more scared of the the damage COVID is doing to the economy or the people's reaction in the market.

It's pretty amazing how you read the sentiment so perfectly.

When i'm thinking about this, i could very well conclude that this is simply an abbrevation from the average. Where am i wrong ?
Or do you rely on something else too in conjunction with this data ?

  5. Agreed, but I took the chance that the number wouldn't resolve higher. I (just) covered my small futures long from Sunday's open. I took some heat on the Boris hospitalization.

If ES closes above the 2635-2650 range today, a potential V shape rush to the 2900 area in a couple of days is possible. However what will happen from there is another question, most likely coming down again.

I mean, it was the perfect call with the numbers we knew at the time....I'm just wondering how this shakes out once today's numbers come in

Cuomo’s presser today gave the market a glimmer of hope. And he went out of his way to state that NYC had enough beds and ventilators.
