I have to disagree. Most of technical trading is about knowing how to think, what the best practices are and finally what has blown people up. That type of stuff can only be learned via an apprenticeship (and no, books are mostly garbage). Because of this required foundation, where you started and who your mentors were matters more than all the hard work in the world.
Agree wholeheartedly but, hard for those of us living in the boondocks to find a mentor and hence, ET.
The ability to think critically is a prerequisite. Plenty of resources available to everyone to learn on their own. Some roads are harder than others no question. From your posts, seems you may be in favor of creating “equity” instead of “equality”. That is living in a dream world my friend. Look at rags to riches athletes or poor people that have won the lottery. Luck can turn on you pretty fast without the intangible skill set of self reflection aka learning from your mistakes.
What's the play OP? Missed on all 'dem Biden gains today hoping for a reversal. It's the meltdown over & time to go long again?
The forum was more fun when des/Poopy did not have me on ignore. Can someone send him a message and tell him I apologize for saying "ShitDick" in some other thread? Geez!
FWIW, I am not advocating neither "equity" nor "equality", I am mostly fine with the world as it is. It's important to have good attribution of your results, in trading and in life. Knowing if you have made it due to skill, hard work or simple luck is especially important. Many people who got lucj decide that they are "smart as fuck" and blow up on their next trade or project. Oh yeah? What product?
@PoopyDeek has me on ignore also. I posted in the Feedback forum that a good ET ID for @PoopyDeek would be DramaQueen. Even though @PoopyDeek has me on ignore he still logs out to read my posts and in some cases respond to them. LOL
