I don't know if Mike Pence is doing this tour to sell books, but the Bush years are over. This courage, reflection, and deep prayer nonsense sells to nobody anymore. Maybe he can get some votes from 80 year old people who attend daily 7 AM mass, but that's about it. His chances of winning the presidency are even lower than mine. Republicans are not going to go with any of the old guard. People like Bush, Christie, Romney, Hogan, Kasich, Cheney, and Pence are all disliked by the base. Even the Tea Party guys like Cruz and Rubio have missed their moment. It's going to be Trump or somebody new on the scene.
It looks like there are really 4 races left all in CA, because they don't know how to count. Those 4 districts have 50% reporting, 59% reporting, 69% reporting, and 88% reporting. I feel pretty confident the incumbents (Valadao and Porter) will win their seats. CA-3 leans GOP and CA-13 has been flipping back and forth (currently the GOP candidate up 1% with 69% in. So it looks like it will be between a 3-5 seat advantage for the GOP. Looking more like 4-5 right now. CNN currently has it at 218-210, but I think it's pretty safe to call the 2 CO districts (split) and AK district (Dems). That makes it 219-212 barring some statistical anomaly takes place. It's close to being 219-213 (Porter's district at 88%).
Latest theory on why there wasn't a red wave: after being told repeatedly for two years that the elections were rigged and their votes wouldn't count, some Republicans believed it. Ya think? Right Side Broadcasting and Christina Bobb complain that Republicans didn't vote because they thought it wouldn't count Bobb then insists on a new election in Arizona https://www.mediamatters.org/donald...-bobb-complain-republicans-didnt-vote-because
A case can be made that a red wave was so expected some Republicans were not motivated enough thinking the midterms were in the bag. This was kicked around when Hillary lost to Trump.
https://www.msnbc.com/the-reidout/reidout-blog/georgia-runoff-lawsuit-early-voting-rcna57692 In case people were wondering what holiday the people needed to celebrate in GA to justify keeping the polls closed, it's "Robert E. Lee Day". You can't make this shit up...
Why are the only races not called all have Republicans leading... Do the Democrats need more time to create ballets to win?
