Republicans are going to end up with 219/220 seats in the house, giving them a slim 2-3 seat majority…
Kari Lake won the Republican primaries via the same voting system in Arizona that she's now complaining about while losing to Katie Hobbs in the mid-terms. Ironically, Kari Lake didn't complain about the exact same voting system when she won the Republican primaries. The fallout for Trump… The Republican base has a way of just trashing their former presidents and it looks like Trump is now in the proverbial barrel. I think the biggest challenge DeSantis has is getting the Republican base to get rid of their Trump merchandise, ie MAGA hats, flags etc. There can be a sense of defeat for former Trump supporters to get rid of their “merch” but it will seal the deal.

Looks like even the count for the US House seats is taking a long time. It does not portend well for Republicans. The Democrats might still win the House which would be a huge disgrace.
