  2. You make a very good point. Why would anyone force people like you to have children is simply incomprehensive. Children require parent's wormth and patience and dedication (not to mention money) which some pople do not have and should not be forced to become parents.

  4. I'm not going to argue with you. If Bush had been elected again yesterday the market would be 20% higher than these levels. Within 10 seconds last night of Obama mentioning the words "Wall Street" I was short and I'm STILL short. (I'm 931 bid to cover). You left wingers are clueless. Longs BUY NET EARNINGS. Anything that hampers net equals a concession in price.

Here's my thesis. I make money because I'm deeply in tune with sentiment while you're a guy with a screen name based on his cock size.........:p

  5. ok, big swinging dick, i got the post-election day play wrong. now i see that it was totally wrong being long going into Wed. but not because of Obama. had McCain won (and had he been expected to win), we would have sold off similarly. it was sell the news thing, nothing less, nothing more. and the reason we sold off hard was because 20% gain in 6 days was too much too fast.

    holding longs here.

Any effect of the election outcome on the market is dwarfed by the reality of the current economy and the dismal prospects for the near term. The prospects would be even worse had McCain been elected because the way out of the death debt spiral will require massive diversion of defense and homeland security spending on wasting assets to investment in infrastructure, research, technology and education. There is a far better chance of achieving that under Obama than under McCain. Also, only Obama has recognized that runaway medical care costs must be tackled by bringing costs down. McCains approach was to shift costs. That would keep us on the road to disaster. Thank god Obama was elected.

The death spiral of spending is from entitlements, not defense.
    Obama's gonna fix that eh?

  9. Posting a picture of Obama's Intrade chart doesn't change the facts: "following an increase in Obama's probabilities of winning, the stock market just as often rose as it declined."

  10. Well my "judgment" has picked me up 60k the past couple months. Long AND short.

Interesting statement by you: "Posting a picture of Obama's Intrade chart doesn't change the facts." The chart IS THE FACTS. Using two years of Obama data is nonsensical. The market didn't know or care about him until this past spring and the market has FULLY anticipated an Obama win since early October. The only period of study worth noting is March through early Oct. Period.
