Election - Market Reaction

  1. basically the opposite of what this guy said.

my opinion is obama may be priced in already but that just confirms a rally if he's elected.. if the market has been responding positively to the anticipation of an obama election than the confirmation of such should def produce a rally.

Agreed. Markets feel McCain is loose cannon. And that Palin is worse, should, God forbid, McCain not serve out his full term.

  4. further confirmation obama will take the lead, lol

it seems people either see the obvious or have views that are contrary of that

maybe i am crazy but it seems very obvious to me that a lot of the people who voted bush in have realized... oops

and now are going to be a lot more hesitant to vote in another republican. obama may have obstacles but the timing couldnt be better. perhaps it's easier to see because of my generation i would imagine old timers having a harder time seeing things as they currently are. there's a huge combination of overwhelming factors that are going to make obama the next president

No, bud. The party is over. You've obviously never lost a job, watched your paycheck shrink, had to wade through the health care system with a serious illness, or lost someone in Iraq.

You can help rebuild the country or pretend that everything will fix itself.

Even the stock market understands that there is a lot of work to be done and, for the moment, it's built in that we're going to do it.

But that may not last, depending on how people are out there who still think that things can just skate along and the US will remain a economic juggernaut.

  6. I don't know first-hand, but that statement is so loaded with emotion and devoid of logic, it must have been made by a woman. The same breed that re-elected a philanderer with multiple extramarital affairs under his belt by 1996. I wonder where NOW and the feminist bozos were then? They shut their mouths like little sheep and re-elected the guy. Should never have given women a vote...

    Flame on.

  7. rofl, your 'women' must love you. :)

also, 'flame on'. wtf... you've obviously been watching FX as they've been playing the Fantastic 4 movie over and over this past weekend

  8. Just because you were raised by two male gay partners does not mean women are devoid of logic. How many times did you conservatives elect Newt Gingrich? He was having an affair while he was trying to impeach Clinton for getting a BJ.
