Viveck is "ESG friendly"? Wow I am trying to process that. Everytime I have heard him speak on the topic he is trashing the sh#t out of them.
Yeah you're right. I looked it up, I don't follow these things too much, that's why I get my news from ET politics. I just knew he had some esg non-profit so I(erroneously) assumed it was environmental. It's biotech stuff though. But still, regarding what I said, he is smart, and he does have quite a few whales in his corner. He'll be a Cabinet member if the GOP wins the general. Smart cookie that one. Staff a Cabinet with the best of the best in their fields, and this country will soar. Trump knew that, but it was his ego that f'd it up. I mean take Tillerson for example... the guy worked his way up from being a nobody to being the CEO of XOM. I'm sure the idiots here will say blah blah blah... but that's the kind of appointments, or at least that logic, that this country needs, not appointments based on identity politics. The Secretary of Commerce could have purple hair, sport high heals, spandex, makeup, earrings, and be hung like Man-0-War for all I care... but he/she/it/they/them better have the best resume and track record for the job. That's one of the things I liked about Trump. His ego however, where the rubber meets the road, apparently came first. We need that directive.... but w/o the ego. jmho
Vivek firing on all cylinders for sure. He used the ESG concept and structure to develop an Anti-ESG fund as an ETF. By putting all the energy related and other symbols in there that the ESG's are committed to booting out. I think the Brits would say Vivek is "rather cheeky." Not saying that's a bad thing. Electability or not aside, he is a good man to mix up a debate. You better have your game face on. https://www.cnbc.com/video/2022/08/...on-new-anti-esg-fund-anti-woke-investing.html
Why a crowded 2024 GOP field could clear the path for Trump – again https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...p-field-could-clear-the-path-for-trump-again/
Okay fine. I guess. I have never heard of him. June 7 is the alleged announcement date. Looks like he has a means nearby of staying warm through those brutal North Dakota winters. That works well as long as you keep throwing a log on the fire frequently, which I am sure he does. North Dakota Gov. Burgum expected to enter GOP presidential fray https://www.tribtoday.com/uncategor...rgum-expected-to-enter-gop-presidential-fray/
From a brief reading I see that she (being the Gov's second wife) was a hard-core party girl and a severe alcoholic for decades. And she has made addiction and recovery a big part of being First Lady of North Daloka. So one could, I suppose, expect her to become sort of Betty Ford 2.0 out on the campaign trail, or beyond if there is to be a beyond. Nothing wrong with any of that.
If she looks like that...no one will pay attention to the other stuff but praise him for getting it right the second time
Meet the ultra-longshot Republicans vying against Trump in 2024 https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...shot-republicans-vying-against-trump-in-2024/
Chris Christie is such a pathetic slob. Unlike the other candidates- even and especially the ones polling lower - he has NO record of success to run on other than a big mouth and Bridgegate. He left office as a low, low polling shit-bum with lots of shadows cast over him. And there is NO indication that he has any constituency out there now other than people who want to see him tear Trump a new one which will benefit other candidates, not Christie. He has no job. Has been unemployed for 6-8 years, except for being a "contributor" on ABC for which they pay him a pittance and throw in a few gift certificates to Arby's every week to sweeten the pot. But the beltway players are putting together some PAC funds to pay him to mouth off for a year or more. It is tempting to say that based on the low level of interest in his running that he would not do it but the reality is that- unlike other people- there is no opportunity cost to him- he has no other opportunities and nothing else to do. And mouthing off for a year or whatever it will keep him relevant to be a podcaster some day- which seems to be where formerly relevant public figures go to die of late. What a slob. He should take his gift certificates down to Arbies, have a reuben sandwich, enjoy it, and then fill out an application for a job there and skip this foolishness. Christie allies launch super PAC ahead of expected 2024 run Allies of former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie have formed a super PAC to support an expected Republican presidential bid. The outside group, Tell It Like It Is, has launched a website boosting Christie’s candidacy and encouraging his presence on the GOP debate stage, saying it would “ensure our party engages in the robust, direct, truth-telling conversation we need to start winning again.” The website lists Republican National Committee member Bill Palatucci, former US Sen. Jeff Chiesa and former US Rep. Susan Brooks as members of the group’s leadership team. https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/30/politics/chris-christie-super-pac/index.html
