So, let's take one minute to review where we are with the election scenario which will pick up speed after this weekend. The Republicans: The battle lines have been formed. A couple undecided clowns out there such as Chris Christie who will make no difference either way and he may be gone already. He can't even get the support of his home state, New Jersey. Chris Sununu will enjoy some attention for a couple more weeks, then he is gone. Glenn Youngkin is out there as a credible candidate who has not entered and will not enter. He is playing with it a bit with some appearances but he is just testing some waters. He expects Trump to win and then Trump cannot run for another term after that, but Younkin will be positioned and ready-er than he is this time around. Not his time. Otherwise, the fight for the republican nomination is off to the races. The Democrats: The situation with the dems is vastly different. After this weekend, the search to replace Joe Biden as the probable nominee will begin in earnest. What appears to be settled and all over with except for the crying is not even remotely settled. Joe will withdraw sometime, probably shortly after the beginning of the year. Pay no attention to Biden staffers giving reassurances that he is not even remotely considering not running in the future. They are all on the Biden payroll and want to stay and have a saprophytic relationship with him. Joe Biden will not be the 2024 nominee, let alone president.
Ok. Biden’s presidential viability has been underestimated the whole way through. This is second prediction Biden will not be the nominee.

I would have thought Tom Cotton would be in the mix. Maybe he's decided it's best to lay low and not get in the Trump mud-wrestling ring, that way he'd have a better chance in 2028. I swear, I think the smart way to do it is to stay off the radar until the games really start. Like DeSantis... he screwed up. He should have just said he's not running, and then at the last minute come out and say "I changed my mind, I think I can do better for America than all these other candidates." I guess it's probably not that easy though huh? I mean it seems like it could be. How hard is it to beat the bushes and hit all the breakfast diners in Hew Hampshire for a weeks before they vote. Win there and all the sudden you're the big dog. Seems like Nickie is staying low key. And this Ramaswami guy, he's got a lot of energy, and he's probably the smartest one in the bunch. I doubt he has much of a chance however, he looks too boyish. I'll tell ya what though, he'll make a great Cabinet pick if the Pubs win. Better than Mayor Pete that's for sure. The GOP might swing some Greenies too if whoever the nominee is comes out early on says that he's their pick to head the EPA. He's pretty ESG friendly. And lets not forget, he's got Thiel behind him, and you know what that means... the power of Palintir. And that's scary. I can promise you whoever wins the nomination, they're taking him along too. Write that down.
Oh, I did not say that Sununu will not enter. I said he will get attention for a couple more weeks and then be gone. (as a player) even if he is declared. For example, Asa Hutchinson has declared but he is gone as a player. Same with Christie, he may or may not enter but it is headed nowhere if he does. Hillary is an interesting case. Let us stipulate in advance that as long as she is alive she is running- even if just in her head. Let us stipulate further that Hillary hates Joe's guts. She wanted to be VP but Obama picked Joe. If she had been VP she would have been positioned to be elected after Obama left. Then she has to watch Joe be elected and sees him in a precarious position to even sit up right to get re-elected. "Why couldn't it have been me?" is the demon in her head. And she is not a complete idiot. She does not want to run again because she is not up for it or another round of humiliation. She might consider it, if Joe bailed out and the DNC and the electors had to convene and just pull someone out their arse to replace him- Someone who had not even campaigned. Right now the plan among the beltway insiders is for that person to be Gavin Newsome. Ouch. But you know her wheels are turning. Michelle is absofrigginglutely too lazy to enter into the rigors of running or being president.
