In regard to the New York case, the president has immunity under the Supremacy Clause at least while he is a sitting president. The argument that it is a state so they can proceed separately has its limits. Even if one does not agree with that, he has an automatic right to appeal on an immunity issue and it will take at least two years to settle it in the federal courts. There is nothing in the new york case that would justify incarceration under sentencing laws for a person with Trumps background, and certainly not while it is on appeal for the larger issues. No impact on his presidency. Just means that there will be more legal actions churning in the background which is situation normal for Trump. The dems will have a pile of new cases going soon too. Situation normal. Full speed ahead. Damn the torpedoes. I forget where we are on some of the federal cases. But they will get fixed as needed. When Joe pardons/commutes Hunter's case that will create more support for Trump to just blow away or pardon himself on any remaining junk cases against him.
Starting January 20, Kamala will truly be unburdened by the past. And as we know, that's what matters. Idiot. She's a complete ding-dong.
Harris must be finished having her hair done because it is being reported that she just called Trump to concede. I think Trump said "YOU'RE FIRED, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE" when she called. I could be wrong.
Kamala got her wish, the page got turned. I never understood how she did not realize the picture on the page was her and Joe. She acted as if they hadn't been in charge at all. Perhaps they weren't.
I too think thats true.I remember it took days for Obama to endorse Harris and multiple sources say he wanted Mark Kelly and was maneuvering behind the scenes to make that happen.Biden threw a wrench in the plans by anointing Harris without consensus from the Party.Harris was likely to be a problem if the party didn't get behind her in 2024 or 2028 if Biden had stayed. The good from this for the Democrat Party is that they have gotten her out of the way from being a problem in the future.
Yep. Barry is on record saying he wanted some kind of open process. https://www.politico.com/live-updat...-election/biden-obama-clinton-harris-00170063
