I'm looking forward to 2024 being over but looking forward to 2028 already.Being that I think Harris will lose I'm very curious to see the direction the Democrat Party takes in 2028.After costing them MI and possible other swing states with significant Muslim populations will they continue the same level of support for Israel? Will they focus on issues that got Obama and Clinton 2 terms like expanding healthcare, lowering the deficit, tough on immigration, cutting defense spending and raising taxes on the rich or will they continue to prioritize bills that doesn't anger their wealthy and corporate donors like IRA and BBB? Will they continue their disastrous immigration policies that even their own constituents like Black voters hate? How will they address the millions of black voters leaving party? Will they nominate another Gore,Hillary,Harris,Biden type candidate that progressive voters have made clear they will not vote for? After the Green Party has played a major role in Democrats losing 3 presidential elections since 2000 how will they deal with them since their 2024 plan of keeping them off of state ballots didn't work ?How will they replace the millions of lifetime Democrats like myself who has left The Democrat Party and joined the Green Party? 2028 will be very interesting.
In the year of 2024 the political careers of Joe Biden,Kamala Harris,Kyrsten Sinema,Joe Manchin and it looks like Jon Tester are coming to an end.The new generation of left wing voters are sending a clear message that they will not be supporting centrist Democrats and policies. Will the Democrat Party listen?
Geez Tree, I had to click back thru 7 pages to find one of your posts I could quote to catch your attention. Hey... this whole hurricane damage thing in NC and GA.... and maybe FL... am I wrong to think this won't be a ready made excuse to claim by either party, some kind of voter disenfranchised/ "I couldn't vote" type thing? It seems like low hanging fruit to be exploited/played in these ultra-close states. Thoughts?
