This is the guy saying Mein Kampf is a good read that is very informative, a real eye opener, and urging others to read it.

It's so easy to put in print form what someone said, and then twist it around to make it look awful, completely omitting the context of how it was said... I mean pffff... it's the oldest trick in the book, and only idiots fall for it without first evaluating the actual event for themselves.

Elon could go on The Five (or any other show) and laughingly say "My oldest kid is dumb as a bag of rocks" and then go on to share a humorous story.... and the next day media outlets could lead with "MUSK CALLS HIS OLDEST SON DUMB" and leave out the rest. By design. I mean... they do it all the time. Whatever.

One could easily say this... and again, it goes back to the context of how it was said. Dwight Eisenhower could have said the same thing.

Maybe you need to go read some of the content Robinson posted in the porn forum, Nude Africa. Get back to us if you think he was only being sarcastic or humorous. You know including the stories of cheating with his wife's sister, etc. Plenty of the information has been provided in the ET forums so you can easily find access to all of Robinson's posts placed on Twitter, etc.

Are you going to also claim that all of Robinson's derogatory comments about women, Jews and others -- which are easily found in videos of his past speeches -- are merely him trying to be humorous or sarcastic. Here is a hint -- it is outright hate speech.

  5. It goes to what I said earlier, ie. it is not the number of seats that are up that matters...it is the number that are in play. We have an evenly divided senate and projections look like the likely winners would take you to that same place again. With the exception of what happens with states that are truly in play...of which Montana has entered that territory.

Tester is the incumbent. So that sounds good for him. Except Trump is on the ticket too and Trump is currently leading in Montana by somewhere close to 20 points. Not so good.

So I follow Luntz's reasoning for how Montana could be the deciding factor but he is on his own when and if he says it "would be". With a couple or a few other states in play there are too many moving parts to get that cocky. Lunt is bit too much like Dick Morris for my liking. And not just because they are both fat slobs. Dick Morris predicted that Mitt Romney would win "by a landslide" right up to the day of the election. And Luntz was one of the major bloviators arguing that the republicans would have "a red wave" at the midterms and take both the house and senate, when they ended out just squeaking by in the House.

Everyone sees that Montana and at least three or more other states are in play and Montana and West Virginia will be pick-up states for the Pubs. Luntz is just doing what pundits do which is to try to spin things in a way that makes them look like they are up on Mount Olympus and see something that the hoi polloi do not. Nope. Pubs may get a majority in the Senate with Montana, or with Montana plus a couple more states. No one knows. But the pundits know that they need to say something different to get on air.

Just because a public figure states a FACT about something... in no way shape or form does that automatically ascribe the premise or belief behind said fact as a tenet of that public figure's core beliefs.

Trump could say Robert E. Lee and Nathan Bedford Forrest were brilliant wartime generals... and get absolutely filleted at the alter of all things racist by the MSM. The fact remains however, their battlefield tactics were (are) studied at West Point and used quite successfully in WW2. Why? Because a fact is a fact, they were brilliant generals. Forrest founded the Klan.... but that has absolutely zero to do with what he did strategically with his cavalry in the Civil War, which the Allies replicated using mechanized divisions vs. horses in WW2.

Let's catch up a small portion of the extreme statements from Mark Robinson. Are you claiming this is just the candidate stating "facts"?

17 of the most batsh*t things N.C. Republican governor candidate Mark Robinson has said

Interesting to see a political candidate list out all the people who need to be killed; socialists, communists, "wicked people", transgenders, gays, and a lengthy list of others. He failed to mention that many MAGA Republicans want to kill minorities as well -- maybe he should think about this.

  9. You're the one who's suggesting an alternative interpretation to his actual words, Mr. Pretzel, so the onus is on you to support your alternative interpretation.

    I'll wait.

I know absolutely zero about this guy, and I will probably have forgotten his name by the time I walk into the other room to check on some games...

That said however... you are 100% incorrect as I am NOT suggesting an alternative interpretation to his actual words, I did not here what he said so I can not provide such. I'm suggesting there is in fact the possibility of an alternative interpretation by providing a hypothetical example of my own design to make that point. Big difference.
