In regard to ballot counting and recounting, it depends on what the challenge or request for recount is. If for example, a candidate challenges whether a class of ballots (e.g. mail in ballots not dated, or whatever) then that is going to impact/apply to all candidates up and down the ballot. But, in a Bush/Gore situation, if it is a simple matter of one race being a nail biter that does not put the other races in limbo if the outcomes of the other races are clear. The election map favors the pubs taking control of the Senate, although that is all subject to swing states, and chances of pubs taking it were better with Biden rather than Kamala. But, yeh, obviously a good chance for pubs to take the Senate and buffer a Harris presidency should that occur. Pubs currently hold the House so obviously there is a chance of them holding on to that too. Although the margin is so thin and Kamala at the top of the ticket is better for dems than having Biden there. The problem with the landscape for pubs is as previously discussed. Kamala has demonstrated through her two previous campaigns that her skin color and the fact that she sits down when she pees gets her a good lift for about five months or so. She checks the boxes. And then reality sets in and the voters have had enough of her and she goes to the trash bin. But she is running a campaign that is only going to be two months long so the campaign season is tailor made for a dimwit like her.
If Kamala were to be elected, woe be unto her when the first midterm election arises. Even the Baby Jesus Obama was slaughtered. True, most presidents take a hit at midterms but the fall from grace is most severe for those who got elected on hope and change and "good vibes." That dog don't hunt long term.
